Heather Coulson specialises in photography of building construction, architecture and industry. For over 30 years she has been undertaking assignments for contractors, consulting engineers and architects for corporate brochures, annual reports, presentations and exhibitions. This experience has given her a thorough knowledge of engineering practice and safety requirements. During this time she has been commissioned to photograph many prestigious projects, including the Hong Kong Harbour Road Tunnel, the Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway, and Castle Peak Power Stations – the largest power complex in Asia. Since returning to the UK in 1988 assignments have included major hospitals, prisons, retail parks and leisure developments, water treatment plants, motorway control centres and a wide range of civil engineering projects.
